Catering can be arranged for groups during both private events and general public skating. Kendall Square Community Skating works with a number of local restaurants, and a selection of our favorites is presented below.
We recommend that you arrange the catering yourself so you can confer directly with the caterer regarding menu selections. If you or your caterer need a place to set up, we have a small, covered, open-air kitchen area with power and a sink that is available for a charge of $100/event.
Aceituna Cafe (Kendall Square, Cambridge)
Serves good portions of healthy Mediterranean and Lebanese "fast food." Low minimum for catering, or visit their location adjacent to the rink on West Kendall Street.
Au Bon Pain (Kendall Square, Cambridge)
Offers sandwich platters, lunch boxes, soups and salads, and desserts. You can also walk to their Bakery and Cafe located near the T stop.
Domino's Pizza (Kendall Square, Cambridge)
The old standby for pizza delivery. Great for birthday parties and informal group outings. We'll even order your pizza at no charge!
Fresh City (three locations in Boston)
Wholesome alternatives to fast foods, made with fresh ingredients and prepared fresh-to-order.
Rebecca's Cafe (Kendall Square, Cambridge)
Repeatedly named Number One Corporate Caterer in Boston by Lawyer's Weekly. You can also walk to their Cafe located near the T stop.
Red Bones Barbeque (Somerville)
A very popular restaurant serving authentic, downhome-style Southern food.
Policies
Private catering and outside vendors are allowed only by prior approval of rink management. All outside vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to the event.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted only during private events when served by a catering company who holds a Host Liquor License and associated Liability Insurance.
