Come enjoy freestyle sprint racing in Greater Boston on a fast, spectator-friendly
course!
Location: Weston Ski Track, 200 Park Rd., Weston, MA ( directions)
Event Info & Times: Skate Sprint Tournament, 1-2k per race.
9:00am — BKL youth sprints (<1k, more info).
10:30am — HS Male 5k
11:15am — HS Female 5k
Noon — 5k Qualification Round for all others. Male and Female will be mixed in this Round. Interval starts; one every 15 seconds. Top 30 males and top 30 females progress to the official open tournaments.
2:00pm — Official Sprint Tournaments for top Men and Women. Scheduled tournament heat times:
2:00 Male Round 1
2:20 Female Round 1
2:35 Male Round 2
2:45 Female Round 2
2:55 Male B Finals
3:00 Female B Finals
3:05 Male A Finals
3:10 Female A Finals
3:30pm — Awards
Registration: $20 for all racers except BKL; BKL free with trail pass; no extra fee for Mass. J2/EHS racers. Register day-of-race or mail registration form postmarked by January 10 to: James Drew, 76 Dyke Rd, Sugar Hill, NH 03586; make check to "Cambridge Sports Union".
